MATTHEW WIGLER, from Long Island, New York, is an incoming Annenberg Fellow at Eton College in the United Kingdom, where he will be teaching courses on “US Government and Politics” and “Political Polarization.” As a 2020 Mitchell Scholar at Trinity College Dublin, Wigler pursued a master’s degree in International Politics in Ireland and was active with Democrats Abroad. He served as a student senator and as vice president of the College Democrats at Stanford University in California’s Silicon Valley, where he graduated in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Honors in International Security. Wigler previously interned for the US State Department at the US Mission to the United Nations in 2017, focusing on nuclear nonproliferation issues.
